1. Doctorate in Philosophy (Ph.D.) with a concentration in School Psychology. 2. Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level. 3. Valid psychologist license issued by the Puerto Rico Board of Examination of Psychologists or license from another jurisdiction with the commitment to carry out the necessary procedures to validate it in Puerto Rico during the first year of hire. 4. Research experience. 5. Evidence of publications and presentations in professional forums. 6. Work experience with school communities. 7. A full-time, tenure track faculty member responsible for teaching in the subject areas of School Psychology. The applicant is expected to be able to plan, organize and teach in a way that ensures the achievement of the institution's learning objectives. Shall contribute to the academic process of the institution through participation in the development of new courses, evaluation, research, mentoring, teaching undergraduate and graduate students, and community service. Must possess communication skills in English and Spanish (oral and written), interpersonal and teamwork skills. The selected candidate is required to conduct research, compete for external research funds, teach undergraduate and graduate psychology courses, mentor graduate students, and provide services to the department, faculty, university, community, and the profession.
