Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Agricultural Education or closely related discipline or a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) in Curriculum and Teaching. Three (3) or more years of experience in teaching agriculture at secondary or university level; have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish; background and work experiences with the Future Farmers of America (FFA) National Organization; leadership and passion for agriculture and agricultural education. Must be committed to serving the mission and goals of the university and the department. Master’s Degree in Agricultural Education. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Position responsibilities include: a) Developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses (including distance delivered courses) b) Advising undergraduate and graduate students c) Supervising student teachers d) Serving on departmental, faculty, and university committees e) Conducting a focused research on agricultural education f) Advising student organizations The successful candidate will be a faculty member in Agricultural Education and will team with the department’s teacher preparation faculty, as well as other departmental faculty, to complete the teaching, scholarship, and engagement activities of the department. Service to the department, Faculty, University, professional societies, and stakeholder groups is expected. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
