DVM and PH.D degrees or DVM and Board Certification (Pathology) from a USA accredited and recognized university, with specialization in Veterinary Pathology. 2. Demonstrated capacity to work cooperatively with others with minimum supervision. 3. Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively by oral, written and electronic means in both, English and Spanish. 4. Capacity to write proposals for competitive research grants in quest of external funds and to compete for extension funds. 5. Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of specialization and to supervise teaching by graduate students. 6. Willingness to travel and possession of a valid driver’s license. 7. Competence and demonstrated capacity to use computers and skill in use of the programs NRC, SAS and basic applications of MS Office. 8. Regular tenure track position. This position is principally for teaching and research. The distribution of work time of the selected person will include 50% teaching and 50% research. The successful candidate must collaborate with other Faculty members, and train them in his/her specialty, among other duties. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
